About Buninyong Childcare Centre
Buninyong Childcare Centre is committed to raising the benchmark for early education and care, and we do that by doing things a little differently. We offer kindergarten and long day care for young children, with 100 places for ages 0 to 6, in the heart of the Buninyong village.

About Us / 01
A village centre with a big heart
Our centre is on Learmonth Street, next door to the Buninyong Town Hall and Police Station. The building was originally the Buninyong Shire Offices and has been completely transformed into a bright, welcoming place for children. We are proud to be where local children begin their learning journey and make their first friendships.

Children move through four rooms as they grow, so every child receives a program that is personalised and right for their current needs:

What makes us different
Natural environments. Real grass, open space and open-ended play, with a quiet space for children who need it.
Food and essentials included. Fresh meals cooked daily, plus nappies, milk and sunscreen.
Inclusion at the centre. Children with additional needs, anxiety, learning difficulties or separation issues are welcomed with care.
Families in the loop. Each room shares a reflection of your child's day and a photographic diary of the group's activities.
A smooth start. Our orientation invites you to attend with your child while they settle.

We welcome children aged 0 to 6 across our Babies/Nursery, Toddler, 3-Year-Old and 4-Year-Old Kindergarten rooms. Call us to check availability for your child's age.
What are your opening hours?
We are open from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
Do you offer funded kindergarten?
Yes. We offer funded 3 and 4-year-old kindergarten as part of our long day care program.
What is included in the fees?
We supply nappies, milk (soy, oat, rice or other), sunscreen and all meals, so you do not need to pack them. Ask our team for current fees and how the Child Care Subsidy may apply to your family.
Can I book casual days?
Yes. Casual days are available when we have space. Contact us to check what is available.
Do you welcome children with additional needs?
Absolutely. Children with additional needs, anxiety, learning difficulties or separation issues are warmly welcomed, and we have a quiet space available.
How do I enrol?
Book a tour, then enrol online. After you enrol, you are invited to attend with your child to help them settle in.
